Pikmin Boxing Day!

Obsessed with this augmented reality game called Pikmin Bloom lately!

When they reach enough friendship points, these little creatures called Pikmin will bring a decor and dress up themselves based on where they are born. Red Pikmin born near stadiums will bring a football keychain. This time, other Pikmin are also dressed up as balls for Boxing Day!

Actually, this was painted in advance in November 22 for a college art club exhibition.

Greetings from Forest!

A watercolour painting inspired by the Christmas card by David Lewis. The only colors are black, white, gray and red. Nuno in Santa clothes is skiing down some snowy hills. There are lots of trees shaped like the Nottingham Forest badge. Nuno is carrying a sack filled with the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League trophy. A full moon shaped like the Champions League starball is up in the night sky.
Inspired by this Christmas card by David Lewis in 1973.

Underdogs striving

Painted this for a college exhibition! The theme color was blue and the keyword was "One", so I wrote "There is only one winner!" as the title and that other line as the subtitle… That was some excuse 😅👍

A football cartoon painted in watercolour. Six players from six clubs in the 24/25 Champions League are standing in a circle. They are, from top left in counterclockwise: Jon Gorenc Stankovič from Sturm Graz, Uroš Spajić from Red Star, Tigran Barseghjan from Slovan Bratislava, Filip Panák from Sparta Prague, Bruno Petković from Dinamo Zagreb, Joël Monteiro from Young Boys. They're making defiant poses and are looking up at the Champions League trophy standing on the "horizon". There is a winding road in the middle of the painting that leads up to the trophy. The road is a blend of sky blue and navy blue and gets darker up to the top. The "horizon" is made of many blue, black, red, claret, and yellow overlapped stars. Behind the trophy is the top half of a giant navy blue star with many outlines that expand outwards. The bottom half of the giant star is white and is overlayed between the "horizon" and the road.

Anfield? No problem!

We really won at fucking Anfield!! COME ON YOU REDS!!!

A watercolour painting that is a parody of the "This is Anfield" frame. A giant bald red bird is knocked out by an arrow to the back of its head, its head and wing sticking out of the crest. Above the bird is Callum Hudson-Odoi with a bow! In front of the frame is Nuno wearing sunglasses and looking cool.

[Crèche] "I'm faster than you!"

Sneak peek of a project I've been making since early 2022.
It's about dragons that can't fly… I'll make something out of this someday 🐲🏃👨🏾‍🦽

A cartoonish painting of a humanoid dragon racing against a serpentine green dragon that have just shot out of the ground. Gaspard, the humanoid dragon has burgundy skin, olive green eyes and a short buzz cut. He has pointy ears with ochre insides, the right ear is larger and has 4 sharp tips. He has a arrow-tipped tail and a clawed arm instead of a left and right wing behind his back. His left claw-wing and right hand have ochre palms. His left halm only has 2 fingers connected by an ochre membrane. His left leg below the knee looks like a wing with 3 "fingers" and ochre membranes. He is riding a dark green wheelchair which is connected to a booster that looks like a green dragon holding a wheel with large horns as a handle.

GOAL for Forest!

Chris Wood shot it like Robin Hood!

Inspired by the Premier League's new scoreboard goal animations!

A watercolour painting inspired by the new Premier League scoreboards' goal animation for Forest: an arrow flies through the O in GOAL and slices the red letters in half, revealing another one in white underneath. In the bottom half of the painting is Chris Wood (who I keep drawing as a log with a black fern growing on its top side and head and limbs sticking out, because I think it's funny) wearing the green hat in the old Forest crest and shooting an arrow, which flies out of the right side of the painting with a red and black swoosh effect and back into the painting, recreating the goal animation in the top half.

The Sweeper podcast!

It's my favorite podcast covering all the niche football stories of the world! Go listen it here!

Thank you so much for featuring this work in the official account!

A watercolour painting of Lee & Paul looking outside a blue pixelated circle with a bunch of references to the podcast in the background. Clockwise from top right: San Marino(below nations are all national team crests), Malta, Faroe Islands, OFC Nations Cup trophy, UE Santa Coloma's squirrel, Bruno's Magpies crest, Mr Blobby, Conference League trophy, Austria Salzburg's angry Mozart with a violin, Coupe de France trophy, Greenland, Marshall Islands shirt, Liechtenstein, Austrian Bundesliga ball.

RIP Chris Bart-Williams and Kevin Campbell

Such a beautiful photo full of joy, yet it's so sad to see it now. The bright smiles on their face. Wish we could've seen them longer, but everything they did for Forest and all the other clubs will keep making us smile. Thank you.
Rest in peace, Bart and Kev.

A watercolour painting of that iconic photo when Chris Bart-Williams and Kevin Campbell joined Forest on the same day. They are standing in the City Ground with their backs against each other, wearing matching olive green suits, with their shirts in hand, turning to the camera with the brightest smiles on their face.

When they joined us together.

Josip Iličić

Read about his journey here:

As my loved ones suffer and things feel unchangeable, what can I do? Even in my worst times, I was never alone. Like Gasperini and Šimundža helped Jojo, I think of the people that stayed with me, and how I can do the same for others.
I dunno, maybe it'll get better.

A watercolour painting of Iličić. He is standing on a mountain shaped like the Triglav. His arms are widestretched and he is looking up at the sky. There are red lilies and purple flowers (that resemble the crests of Fiorentina and NK Maribor) on the Triglav. The wind blowing behind him is stylised as wavy black and blue stripes (that resemble La Dea's flowing hair on Atalanta's crest). Stars are scattered above his head, and the biggest ones are three six-pointed yellow stars (seen in the coat of arms of Slovenia). Pink eagles (that represent Palermo) fly among the stars.

My trip to Europe for the first time! (with stickers and stadiums!)

This year, from January 26th to 31th, me and Mum to Europe for the first time! It was a package tour to Hungary, Austria and the Czech Republic. WE visited basically all the famous placesHeroes Square, Buda Castle, Schönbrunn Palace, Hallstatt, České Budějovice, Prague's town square...but I'm not here to talk about that! I want to write about the things we enjoyed between.

First was the flight. We departed from Incheon at dawn and arrived in the afternoon at Václav Havel Airport. The night flight took more than 13 hours! I had two meals, slept a lot and watched the flight information on the seat monitor whenever I was awake. There was a feature that told you what major city was the closest to the current location. We flew above Kazakhstan... above Georgia... above Turkey... above Bulgaria... above Greece... Finally, when the arrow pointed to Adamclisi in Romania, my heart was pounding. We arrived at the centre of Europe! I'm here!

We travelled by bus. Crossing borders by road, that's unthinkable in Korea here! I was surprised by the view outside the windows, it was so different from home. There were so many windmills in the countryside, and the grass on the farmlands was green. Here the climate is very different, the land completely freezes over in winter so grass can't grow at all. I was also fascinated by the European number plates. All those cars were from different countries! I didn't want to fall asleep in the bus, so I counted some on the highway. This was the result:

Our bus driver was Marek, and he was Czech. He was a great driver! I greeted him in Czech whenever we got on and off the bus. "Dobré ráno, dobrý den, dobrý večer, dobrou noc!" Our Korean guide, who also lives in the Czech Republic, advised us to say hello more often whenever we meet the locals in a hotel lift or somewhere else. As tourists from a faraway land, leaving a good impression on them will make everyone happy and they will likely be more friendly to us in the future also, he said.

I saw some stadiums outside the window too, I had to be very quick to take those photos.

Yes, of course, this trip was also about football. Even if I can't watch an actual match yet, I wanted to take a little peek of how's it like there. It wasn't too hard to find, because wherever we went, there were stickers! Football stickers, everywhere! No one else knew those were from ultras, but I knew about them and I was able to see them. I took lots and lots of photos, and here's the entirety of them! Please click on the image for all the good details!

The last day, before we returned back to Václav Havel Airport, we had exactly one hour of free time at the square. But I had an idea. Sparta Prague's Stadion Letná is pretty close to the square, so if I ask the guide to get me some tickets and hurry up after lunch...European football, here we come!

It was my first ever time visiting a European football stadium! Of course it was empty, but I was so happy. I bought a home shirt and a Sparta mascot plushie from the fanshop. Then we called the taxi to go back to the square, back to the airport, back home. Now my future goal is to visit a stadium full of passionate fans! This trip was one of the best moments of my life.

Goodbye Prague, for now. We will meet again!
